Commissioned Digital Portrait, Mid 50s Century Home Decor, Custom Artwork

This item is for a custom digital drawing / illustration, designed in a vintage looking style, similar to all the posters in our store!

You get a digital copy that you can print at home or at your local printer. This digital design can be a poster, a mug, a Christmas card, a pillow – you name it!

Option available to print it as a poster. See below for instructions.

PRICING A-LA-CARTE FOR A DIGITAL DESIGN

• One subject/character - $50 (US$).
• Multiple characters - $50/each adult.
• Multiple characters - $45/each child.
• Pets, animal, etc. - $25/each child.
• Props, furniture, background, etc. - $15/each.

You will be paying the initial US$50 as a deposit (non-refundable). 

• Balance is collected at the end when the design stage/process is finished, before the final file is sent to you.
• If your design is going to be only one subject/character (whether it is a single adult, a child, an accessory or a pet), there will be no balance left and we will send you the digital design when you approve it.

1. In Your cart you will find a "Order special instructions" box. There, include a brief description of what you have in mind for the design. Please try to be specific. I.E., number of characters, background color, props, animal, silhouette colors, scene you have in mind, etc.
2. If you have a photo, picture or screenshot, please feel free to send as many as you like! (*)
3. You can even send a link to a Pinterest board (for example) to share an idea of the vibe you have in mind for the entire design.
4. Hit the “Check Out” button and we are ready to go.

Note (*) - When submitting a picture, you agree that you own the rights to the picture or have the proper authorization to use it. I am not responsible for any copyrights violations regarding the picture(s) you are sending.

EXTRA FEE FOR PRINTING YOUR DESIGN AS A POSTER

Don't want to bother with printing the poster yourself? Maybe you need to send this as a surprise gift? Let us handle that part!

We print on high quality paper and take care of verifying the tracking until it reaches its destination. The following must be added to the A-La-Carte budget:

• A5 (5.8 x 8.3”) -- US$10
• 8 x 10” or A4 (8.3 x 11.7”) -- US$15
• 12 x 16” or A3 (11.7 x 16.5”) -- US$23
• 12 x 18” -- US$25
• 16 x 20” -- US$27
• 18 x 24” -- US$30
• 24 x 36” -- US$35

It would be printed on the same paper we use for all our posters: Giclée fine art matte paper, 200 g/m2.

-1. Lemon and Cello is a TWO PERSON small business. You will work directly and solely with one of us, Bruno and Danilo. See our story!

-2. When the deposit fee arrives, we will contact you shortly via email so we can:

• Tinker the final budget together.
• Discuss colors, texts, details and ideas for the design.
• Schedule our first kick-off meeting.

-3. With our work schedule defined between the two of us, we start drawing with your ideas as inspiration.

-4. Initially, we need between 3 to 4 business days to do the first sketch (not including weekends). We´ll personally arrange preview files (PNG or JPG) and send you back, so you can check them out.

-5. At this stage, we would rely on you to let us know all the changes you need. Don't be bashful - we can take a good critic :)

-6. Corrections and revisions can take another 1-3 days (if needed).

-7. We can go back and forth by Email, until you are 100% happy with your artwork.

-8. Only then and there with your final approval, we can wrap this up!

• For a DIGITAL DESIGN with only one subject/character, there will be no balance left and we will send you the final digital design by email.

• For a DIGITAL DESIGN with more than one character, we will create another digital downloadable item for the amount of the balance left.

• For a PRINTED POSTER OF YOUR NEW DESIGN, we will create an item for the amount of the balance left. We will then upload your order to the professional printing service that handles our orders throughout the year. Each item is individually processed, carefully produced by hand to ensure the best quality. They will ship your order but we will take care of track it down all the way to your home.

• The initial US$50 is a non-refundable deposit.
• That fee is for the creation of your custom illustration. It also acts as a placeholder for your project on our work schedule.
• As freelance designers, we always ask for a deposit for commissioned work. We have found that this is the easiest way to secure the commitment of the customer, from which we rely so much during the design process.
• When drawing you or a person you sent me a photo from, please be so kind as to remember this is not a realistic portrait, it is more aligned to the style of a cartoon, right?
• Nevertheless, we always like our costumers to see at least something iconic (or at least an air) that makes the person identifiable and recognizable. During the design process we'll figure that our together!
• If you have any issues with your order, please let us know and we'll fix it together. Remember that during the design stage we offer previews and revisions, to make sure you are 100% happy with your artwork.
