Our Story

Hello, we are brothers Danilo Salvo and Bruno Salvo, illustrators and owners of Lemon & Cello. Our posters and custom illustrations are inspired by a fun, retro style infused with lots of colors. We create designs by digitally drawing each and every object, while we run our design business from our studio in Montevideo, Uruguay. We love spending our days managing orders, and illustrating on a freelance basis for various clients.

Bruno opened the original Etsy shop in 2020 with a some of the first music, food and abstract posters. He's a self-taught artist and is always exploring his vision: whether it's writing a book (he has several), making his own furniture or oil painting: it's that creative energy that inspires his work at Lemon & Cello.

Dani is an architect and illustrator who joined the team in 2022, initially helping with Christmas orders. Shortly after, he began developing custom artwork, working closely with clients. He brings the same passion for detailed illustration that he's displayed for years in his other online project, Film Freak Design.
